The Agreement governs the use of the British Cinematographer Player which allows consumers to use our Video on Demand platform (VoD) and view video programmes from content owners (Suppliers) through Supplier branded and other channels on the Site.

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Site. This terms of use (together with the documents referred to in it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website whether as a guest or as a registered Supplier. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our site and submitting video content.

By using our site, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and that you agree to comply with them whenever you access the site by any device

 Registration and Submitting Video Content

Suppliers must register by completing our “Submit a Video “ form found on the Site and agree to our Terms of Use before submitting a Video for the designated period.

You are only permitted to upload content for which you have the necessary rights, permissions or licences to share,

You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself and your Company (The Supplier) as requested by Laws Publishing Ltd in the “Submit a Video” form

You agree to indemnify Laws Publishing Ltd against any third party claims, costs, loss or damage incurred as a result of publishing the material supplied by you which is in breach of the Terms of Use policy

You agree that where your video appears on channels and pages found on the Site they may also include links such as banners, leader boards and side bar mpu’s to third party websites. Laws Publishing Ltd is not responsible for the content which appears on those web sites or any interaction that may take place as a result of your use of these websites.

By submitting a video, you grant that Laws Publishing Ltd has the permission to stream the video to end users, distribute the video to Laws Publishing Ltd.’s community (including our partners, subscribers and user database), make the video available to download and generate stills from your video for promotional.

Removal of material

Laws Publishing Ltd has the right at any time and for any reason to remove the content supplied which is appearing on the Site without giving  you advance notice and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from its removal.

Intellectual Property

British Cinematographer and British Cinematography Player are the proprietary marks owned by Laws Publishing Ltd. Any use of these marks without our permission granted in writing maybe an infringement of the rights in these marks and Laws Publishing reserves the right to enforce these.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, unless this is information added by you as part of the interactive functionality of the site and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors

Suppliers grant Laws Publishing Ltd a world-wide licence to republish the content they supply to appear on the Site on a royalty free, perpetual and non-exclusive.

Laws Publishing Ltd does not accept any liability regarding the content submitted by Suppliers which we provide on the Site and are not responsible for its accuracy.

The Supplier is solely responsible for the content they submit to Laws Publishing Ltd and for ensuring that such content complies with all relevant legislation.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. Access to our site and use of your account with our site is permitted on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period

We use all reasonable means to ensure that the website does not contain viruses or other damaging components. We do not guarantee that the company’s services are completely virus free and recommend that you should virus check all accessed pages on a regular basis

However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Laws Publishing Ltd, and their Directors from any and all claims, causes of action, suits, damages or demands, arising out of any infringement of intellectual property rights used by the Laws Publishing Ltd by providing the content supplied in delivering the services.
